Our client is a very well established multi office firm of Chartered Surveyors and looking to recruit a Graduate Surveyor to join the property asset management department in the City office.

The role:

As graduate surveyor, you will be assisting in working on key client instructions.

Working on mixed portfolios of assets including offices, retail/shopping centres, retail warehousing, industrial and mixed use developments.

Helping in providing advice to clients and producing reports.

Inspecting properties with a focus on income generation and asset enhancement, to maximize value from a property portfolio through.

Day to day you will be helping with:

Lease restructuring and deeds of variation.

Controlling licences for assignment and acquiring and selling investments.

Lease renewals, rent reviews and licences for alterations.

Ensuring tenant lease covenant and compliance.

Carrying out comprehensive property, market and due diligence.

New business development and networking with senior staff including partners.

The person:

Graduate with a property related degree.

Property industry experience of benefit.

Strong understanding of the commercial property market with a good knowledge of Landlord & Tenant matters and law.

Ability to work on own initiative whilst being part of team.

Well presented with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good attention to detail, well-organized and strong numerical skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Highly motivated to develop a long-term career in property and the desire to become a member of the RICS.
