Head Of Facilities Management
Salary- £400-450 per day
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Facilities in a strategic position within our clients' senior management team, working client side for a London Council. The Head of Facilities management position will look to run for approximately 6 months but also has the opportunity to go permanent.
The position is to provide provision of business strategies that lead to the continued development and modernisation of the division, this role will drive innovation and change ensuring the integration and implementation of robust business process, contract management, technical services, financial and operational functions that deliver to the Council's medium and long term business plans and corporate objectives.
The post holder will have responsibility for driving the business, leading on change and optimising divisional performance through the use of innovative IT functions and that of the Council's corporate and FM supply chain partners ensuring a positive workplace experience for all Council staff, its partners and the community.
* Knowledge of business processes, change management, IT software solutions, data management and interpretation of complex data.
* Knowledge of public and or private sector procurement e.g. OJEU, EU Procurement laws/guidelines, Public Contracts Regulations, Best Practice procurement and statutory responsibilities, duties and functions and how to apply these effectively in practice
* Professional qualification, e.g. member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), BIFM or other professional related accreditation
* Expert in performance management techniques and financial management to ensure the most cost effective models and outcomes are achieved within available resources.
