Project Manager/ Senior Site Manager - Social Housing (Planned Maintenance) - Permanent - London - Up to £45k Basic Plus Package.
Currently seeking a Project Manager/ Senior Site Manager to join social housing contractor based in the London area. Due to growth within the business and the recent accumulation of a number of projects my client is now looking for a project manager to manage a variety planned external and internal maintenance projects including kitchen & bathroom replacements, roof repairs, fabric repairs, windows, water proofing works and door renewals on residential properties.
As the number one on site you will be responsible for:
* Overall management of the project
* Achieving programme milestones on time & within budget
* Day to day management of onsite health & safety ensuring good working practices are maintained
* Communication with stakeholders including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and direct labour
My client has been a local service provider since 1992 delivering high quality property maintenance and refurbishment services across London and the South east for the public sector and private landlords. My client specialises in customer focused responsive repairs covering all trades. They provide a 24/7/365 service to over 15,000 homes across London and the South East, delivering £12m in repairs and voids. This includes services for registered providers with portfolios of over 25,000 properties and providing services to over 35,000 homes per annum.
Successful candidates will have previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within the social housing sector. The successful candidate must be willing to travel to multiple locations within the M25 and have a proven knowledge of managing multiple sub-contractors, projects and health & safety on site. A background in external or internal maintenance projects such as roofing, windows and doors is required. All candidates must have a valid SMSTS and CSCS card.
