Voids Supervisor- Social Housing - Luton

Interim Contract for 3 - 6 months, depending on performance will lead to Permanent 

My client is a leading provider of social housing throughout the northern home counties, due to a recent restructure we are seeking talented candidates for a pivotal role within my client's Voids Team for a Voids Supervisor.

  • Pro-actively manage operatives ensuring adherence to all company policies, procedure and standards (including but not limited to contracts of employment, dress code, fleet policy, training requirements, resource availability, productivity levels, health & safety adherence, quality, customer satisfaction)
  • Ensure records are kept of all meetings, inspections and any other appropriate documentation, that they are of decent quality and stored in the appropriate company specified locations
  • Pro-actively manage relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders through regular, timely, concise and professional communication both written and verbal. Ensuring that you are visible and available when required
  • Take ownership of problems, issues, and complaints ensuring technical support and solutions are offered, all parties involved are kept informed and it is closed out satisfactorily
  • Ensure that all materials, equipment and time required are available to achieve a successful first-time fix and reduce follow on works
  • Be available for inclusion in the out of hours rota

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years in the property maintenance or related service provision
  • Positive attitude to work; able to promote team working and good morale and ability to work alone
  • Ability to take ownership of issues/problems and personally see them through to delivery
  • Organised approach to work, able to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude
  • To be able to positively challenge and promote continuous improvement
  • Ideally educated to GCSE or equivalent levels preferably to include English and Mathematics
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a trade
  • CSCS/SMSTS or equivalent(s)
