Voids Coordinator (Social Housing)

Location: Slough

Salary: £25K

Hours 8:00am - 17:00pm

I am currently looking for an experienced, organised voids coordinator to join an exciting team based in Slough. You will be provided with full company training and the successful candidate will gain more responsibilities over time which can lead to progression within the company.


  • Management of void properties within your department
  • Organising works and updating clients in line with completion dates
  • Answering calls from clients in regard to repairs/maintenance issues within their properties while consistently providing an exceptional level of customer service
  • Planning/scheduling multi-trade operative’s workloads, using bespoke software packages
  • Liaising with suppliers to allocate services to void properties, furniture etc
  • Liaising with residents/operatives /surveyors/supervisors/clients
  • Data entry and updating of various day to day spreadsheets
  • Diary/Calendar management for operatives
  • Collating & providing weekly reports

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 6 months experience working in Voids
  • Have an excellent eye for detail and a flexible approach as well as being articulate and a good communicator
  • Be motivated to progress within the company
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a high degree of professionalism
  • High level of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Experience of Microsoft packages with an ability to pick up new software quickly
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, punctual, pro-active and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and also in a team environment
