Role: Training Coordinator

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + excellent benefits package

My client is one of the UK’s leading housing maintenance and construction contractors who operate nationwide, due to significant growth in the business over the last year and a number of key contract wins they are currently looking to develop the Learning & Development team with the addition of a Training Coordinator to join their established team based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The main purpose of this role is to provide a training coordination service to the company and to assist in maintaining the training matrix as well as supporting the wider L&D team as appropriate.


•             Update new starters on training spreadsheet

•             Booking onto mandatory training that they do not yet have

•             Check if new starters have CSCS cards and update internal systems

•             Set new starters up on e-learning and provide users with support

•             Run e-Learning report every two weeks and update training spreadsheet

•             Strategically arrange Training Courses based upon Business Needs / Training Matrix with allocated trainer resource

•             Raise the L&D proposition internally by attending regular Departmental Meetings

•             Work closely with H&S / Group to ensure Training Matrix is aligned and relevant

•             Work closely with HR to ensure ‘compliance training’ is delivered during on-boarding

•             Arrange courses (book trainers, book room, book delegates onto the courses, arrange lunches etc.)

•             Liaise with accounts to make payments

•             Process notifications for Site Safety Plus courses

•             Producing weekly / monthly reports for Directors / Head of (nationally)

•             Order training materials.

What you’ll need to succeed:

•             Experience of using Microsoft Office & Outlook  

•             Time Management

•             Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on their own initiative

•             Must be accurate and pay attention to detail

•             Able to follow a process

•             Positive and can-do attitude

A minimum of 1 years’ experience in:

•             Busy commercial environment

•             Coordinating H&S & Compliance training

•             Customer service experience
