Interim or Permanent option of contract

Looking to speak with experienced Supply Chain Managers with experience in managing end-to-end supply chains and fleets, driving continuous improvement and ensuring value for money.

You will be joining a medium sized Housing Association and be responsible for Business Analysts, Supply Chain Co-ordinators and Supply Chain Driver/Labourers.

Line manage and develop the Supply Chain team to meet performance and productivity targets

Develop and maintain the materials procurement strategy in conjunction with the Procurement Manager

Manage contracts and the tender process for fleet and materials, together with non-contracted suppliers

Monitor, control and manage the Supply Chain budget and manage off-contract material spend

Ensure COSHH regulation requirements for product data sheets are maintained and available, along with aiding administration of COSHH task assessments for service teams

Collaborate with Information Services team to manage and develop current DLO systems (Total and Total Mobile), as well as future systems such as Open Housing, GIS and DRS Scheduling

Lead and maintain positive communications between suppliers, DLO teams and other teams in order to maximise co-operation and continuous improvement

Manage the van stock-take process in collaboration with DLO Service Managers and teams
