Experienced Stock Condition Surveyor required for a HA to assist the asset management team in the delivery of the long term asset management strategy. This will include collecting and recording stock condition data in respect of residential and commercial assets. The role will be required to validate, review and update data held in the asset management database, appoint and manage external consultants and contractors in managing programmes of ongoing surveys.

You will support the team in managing upgrade works, major capital projects and remedial actions for new build defects.

You will identify building related defects, and determine the condition of existing components, analysing defects, making recommendations and proposing solutions including liaison with the NHBC and other warranty providers on remedial actions.

You will understand the performance of our properties and estates and ensure that planned investment decisions consider the needs of customers, the business, the environment and the wider community.

Responsible for completing the stock condition surveys across property portfolio, which includes the collection, validation, input, manipulation, extraction and analysis of asset data to support long term decision making.

Design and manage ongoing programmes of inspection, pre-works and survey to assets.

Carry out property assessments to support the option appraisal process as required and provide information to support long term decision making as it relates to assets

Identify building related defects including HHSRS issues, and condition of components, making recommendations and proposing solutions, including liaison and negotiations with warranty holders such as NHBC or Premier.

Working with the Senior Surveyor and planned delivery teams, put in place and manage systems that ensure the effective identification and timely correction of defects. Ensure that information gained on defects is used for the continuous improvement of the specification of items for future contracts.

Ensure collection of Energy efficiency data including SAP

Understands the energy efficiency profile of our stock, developing programmes to improve stock in line with our Affordable Warmth Strategy
