Site Manager – Retrofit Social Housing Project

Type: FTC 8 months (strong possibility of contract being expanded/extended)

Location: Alton(Hampshire) 

We are currently recruiting for a national contractor they are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with previous social housing experience, good communications and excellent client facing skills, to join their team and assist them in the management and delivery of an external retrofit planned maintenance project. 

Your main duties will include management of sub-contractors and direct staff, health and safety talks, inspecting works pre and post works, liaising with the client, attending progress meetings and the general delivery of the programme.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Must have previous social housing external planned maintenance/refurbishment experience
• excellent communication skills
• Asbestos Awareness
• Scaffold inspection
• Full Driving License
• A minimum of 2 years experience managing social housing projects
• Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
• Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
