I am currently recruiting for a leading maintenance contractor to work on a full time permanent basis as a Site Manager managing new build projects.
They are looking for a qualified and experienced new build Site Manager due to rapid recent expansion on London based projects. The main duties to be carried out by the site manager include general day to management of the construction activities across a new build site in the Redbridge area to maintain profitable timescales whilst upholding a H&S and quality control standard.
Some main duties will include:
Weekly progress reporting to senior management, maintenance of company driven H&S procedures including, PPE, Inductions, management of method statements and risk assessments, work permits, scaffold and lifting equipment inspections, inhouse audits and inspections, site house keeping, liaison with clients, consultants, contract administrators and head office. Management of site facilities. For this role you would need to have experience working on school projects.
Candidates applying will need to have the following the be considered:
- Previous Site management experience on New build projects
- Up to date knowledge of building and H&S
- Must hold Relevant H&S qualifications and SMSTS
- Experience with managing school projects
