I am currently working with one of the UK's leading housing maintenance contractors who are based throughout the London and the South East, due to growth within the business the organisation have a requirement for a SHEQ Manager to join their Health & Safety team in Orpington. The candidate would have 3/5 years’ experience working in a similar position where they were responsible for developing the company's Health and Safety initiative.
The Ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification ideally a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ level 4/5 or equivalent. The ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi-site operations. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.
The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written and strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner.
