Senior Site Manager – Design & Build  


Perm up to 50K + package

I am currently looking for a Senior Site Manager to work on a commercial to residential fit out project in Wolverhampton.

The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate experience in this sector before with a main contractor and would need to take the lead in team of 2 managers for liaison with design and commercial team on site.


  • Review design drawings for buildability and co-ordination. Raise RFI where appropriate
  • Manage the Health and Safety of all activities on site and implement Wates process and procedures.
  • Manage the Site Operations team including site managers, assistant site mangers and logistics team
  • Coordinate and Manage Sub-Contactors to ensure programme requirements are achieved.
  • Agree sub-contractors long term and short term programme and monitor performance against these programmes
  • Monitor and understand position against contract programme, agree recovery programmes with the Project Manager
  • Coordinate and communicate with all support functions including, commercial, planning, design and engineering.
  • Assist the Project Manager in achieving the Project Quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.

About You:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working for a main contractor as a senior site manager
  • Residential / New Build background
  • Excellent design and programming skills
  • Experience using Astral or Microsoft Projects
  • Good health and safety
  • SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid / Scaffold Inspection / Asbestos Awareness
