Job Title: Senior Site Manager – Social Housing Contractor

Location: Enfield, London

Salary: £65,000 per annum plus Package

Our Client is a leading social housing contractor dedicated to improving the quality of homes and communities across Enfield and beyond. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee planned works projects, including External Wall Insulation (EWI), loft conversions, re-roofing, and installation of windows and doors to properties within the Enfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a proven track record in social housing construction to make a significant impact in improving living conditions for residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of planned works projects, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee site operations, including health and safety protocols, risk management, and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays proactively.
  • Liaise with clients, residents, and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, motivating them to achieve project objectives and deliver exceptional results.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets contractual requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the social housing sector, managing planned works projects such as EWI, loft conversions, re-roofing, and window and door installations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to social housing projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field would be advantageous.
