Regional Health & Safety Manager
East of England (multi site)
Build Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in the East of England to source a Regional Health & Safety Manager - Salary: £48K - £55k
Reporting to the Senior Health and Safety Manager, the Regional Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the Region as well as supporting the development and the implementation of the safety management system.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, the Regional Health & Safety Manager will monitor and support all aspects of Health and Safety across the property portfolio.
The successful Regional Health & Safety Manager will need to have the ability to identify and solve complex health and safety problems in a timely manner, exploring options including cost, benefit and risk, taking account of the wider context such as diversity and sustainability.
It is essential that applicants have the following:
- NEBOSH Diploma or higher.
- Understanding of management Systems such as 9001 and 18001
- CMIOSH or equivalent desirable
