R&M Planning Manager (Repairs & Voids) - Social Housing - West London - Up to £45k Basic Plus Package

My client a main social housing maintenance contractor is currently looking to recruit a planning manager for a large R&M contract based in West London. The role will be to manage a team of planning supervisors, a number of planners, admin as well as apprentices/trainees. The contract covers 14,000 properties with over 60 operatives carrying out day to day repairs. Our client will be delivering a first class responsive repairs service in the West London area and is looking for an innovative and dynamic planning manager to oversee the planning of the day to day diaries of their fleet of engineers to ensure right first time, customer satisfaction and other core KPI's are in the upper percentiles.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all planners are fulfilling their duties
  • Oversee planning of day to day repairs
  • Ensure the relevant operative is booked to correct repairs
  • Maximise efficiency of planning schedule for repairs
  • Manage KPI's and improve overall KPI percentage
  • Monitor performance of all staff
  • Manage team of Supervisors, Planners, Admin and Trainees


  • Experience in planning repairs within the social housing sector
  • Strong background in delivering responsive maintenance contracts in social housing
  • Must be an experienced planning manager with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role
  • Must have experience planning/scheduling works
