We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a reputable Civils firm, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor based in Exeter.
The company we are working is a market leader in their industry. Their man office is in Plymouth. The company has a large amount of contracts with large house builders in the Cornwall and Devon area. The company offers career progression as well a great working environment and training and are looking for a keen Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
Day to Day:
Day to day supervision of budget control on various sites from the Plymouth office
Client contact, site meetings reviewing costings across projects
Weekly and monthly reporting
Ensuring work is completed on time, within programme agreed
Most work will be on new build residential site
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
Suitably qualified QS with over 3 years experience
Construction background
Understanding of running new build residential programmes and costings
Management of assistant surveyors would be preferred but not essential
Personable, a great team player and have great attention to detail
