Development Project Manager


£50,000 pa

Experienced Project Manager to be fully responsible for the delivery of a variety of residential complex development projects from inception to completion with minimum supervision.

To lead and manage project teams effectively, establishing performance targets that ensure projects are delivered to cost, time and quality.

Manage all development projects undertaken including briefing, instructing and monitoring professional consultants and advisers and liaising with all parties concerned. Oversee detailed stages of development projects from feasibility to completion and act as a point of liaison between clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues.

To develop development briefs, effective project risk registers and monitor project spend against budget for each scheme

Use sound judgment to make decisions regarding design quality, procurement, tenure mix etc to effectively lead the development process.

Ensure schemes meet all appropriate and external requirements adhering to procedures and funding conditions. Ensure that accurate audit files are prepared and maintained for every scheme.

Ensure that any matters of concern or significant risk to a project's successful completion and/or deviation from the Board's scheme approval is reported in timely fashion with recommendations as to the appropriate remedial action.

Plan and manage all other resources and assets including budgets, IT and communications systems to agreed standards and budgets, identifying improvements and efficiencies that lead to effective project management.
