Responsive Repairs Team Leader


This position is working for a company that specialises in providing quality repair, maintenance and refurbishment services for public landlords across London and the South East.

The key responsibilities of the Repairs Team Leader role will include:

  • To lead a team managing responsive repairs, inspiring them to deliver excellent customer service to residents
  • Manage, report and monitor expenditure within a reactive repairs budget
  • Managing the day to day diaries of the operatives and scheduling in works
  • Taking calls from tenants regarding reactive maintenance issues
  • Effective management of the responsive repairs contract, including negotiation and drawing up of variations to the partnering contract and advising senior management on strategic issues
  • Manage KPI's and other data including financial, asset management and customer feedback
  • Assist the Head of Repairs in development of new policy, and lead on implementation of innovation and good practice

The successful candidate for the Repairs Manager (Interim) role will:

  • Have previous experience in managing Housing Repairs contracts
  • Be a proven team leader
  • Have good working knowledge of the Northgate/DRS/OPIT-TIME system or similar
