An experienced Planned Works Project Manager is required to join a Housing Association that own and manage in excess of 5,000 homes throughout Buckinghamshire, including houses, flats, blocks and shops.

You will be responsible for the delivery of specific planned and cyclical work programmes and major improvement projects, from inception to completion that protect or improve our assets.

Considerable contract management experience in a similar role is important and you will be able to use your strong negotiating skills to deliver best value services and continuous improvement for our customers, within budget and timescales.

Work with the Asset Manager to set key performance targets and milestones for allocated projects and monitor agreed deliverables to achieve expected outputs.

Pursue excellence in all aspects of the Asset Management service and the wider business.

Make sure our tenant and leaseholders inspire and influence the design, delivery and outcome of everything we do.

Managing the progress of work by either contractors or in-house maintenance staff and making sure we comply with all relevant documentation, standards and good practice guidance.

Reconciling and settling final accounts and valuations, agreeing and paying interim valuations for major works, dealing with contractual disputes, extensions of time and variations and issuing relevant certification.

Providing project update reports and post project reviews.

Providing technical repairs support to both internal and external customers, which will include site visits to inspect work, diagnosing defects, identifying solutions, investigating and resolving complaints and agreeing follow on works, as well as helping with home and estate inspections and mutual exchanges.
