Multi Skilled Engineer
Start Date: 6th-9th October/Hourly Rate: £17-£19 per hour

As a Fabric Technician you will be expected to support the maintenance operation in place on the site. This support is co-ordinated through the Technical Services Team Leader who will guide and direct the daily duties of work. The Key focus of this role is to undertake and maintain all the centre's Facilities to a high standard.
The required candidate needs to have a solid Fabric background and has also had vast experience in working within a large corporate building or shopping centre for a leading FM service provider. In terms of skill sets my client is looking for a strong plumbing/drainage engineer who holds a high standard of workmanship. Other skills that would be desirable is a strong mechanical background.
Day to Day:
High end bathroom/toilet maintenance- from replacing taps to installing new WC's.
Maintaining/repairing commercial drainage systems
Solid Fabric background in Carpentry & Decorating- Painting walls/ceilings to fitting new door handles & locks
Carry out nightly audits of all washrooms, both Front & back of house
General Building skills
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
Proven ability and experience in a similar role.
The ability to work at heights and have or willing to take IPAF/MEWPs certificate.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
A building Trade NVQ / City & Guilds qualification such as brickwork, joinery or roofing
Proven experience of working in a customer services environment.
Possess a working knowledge of relevant building and health and safety Legislation.
This role requires a flexible working pattern - shift work, weekends, bank holidays and overtime when required and to be available to travel at short notice
Days Per Week: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
