We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a FM company who are looking for a Mechanical shift engineer based in Hither Green.

This is a great opportunity to work for one of the largest, most successful FM companies which will give you a chance to gain good critical experience and potentially progress within their company. This role as a mechanical shift engineer will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 4 days on 4 days off. NO NIGTHS, day shifts only. Working along side an electrical engineer and a handy person.


Day to Day:

  •      Mechanical PPM’s and reactive works
  •      Managing the CAFM software for maintenance and monitoring of the building services
  •      Maintaining Distribution boards, PDU`s and Ups and battery rooms.
  •      Mechanical maintenance of Ahu's, fans, motors and pumps and electrical Humidifiers.
  •      Carrying out sprinkler tests, fire alarm test, testing of emergency call points
  •      Managing of tools, spares, stock, quotes and ordering of materials for plant - filters, belts, salt, water treatment chemicals.
  •      Breakdown and maintenance of FCU's, condense pumps, lines and actuators.

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  •      NVQ level 1/2/ in Mechanical engineering or higher
  •      Experience working with AHU’s, Pressurisation units and fan coil units
  •      Experience carrying out mechanical maintenance in a commercial or public sector site
  •      Reliable, trustworthy, and willing to go above and beyond
