Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Bracknell, Berkshire | Days Only | £35,000 + £5000 bonus

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience within commercial premises? Are you looking for a role closer to home?

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in a large estate close to Bracknell, Berkshire. The estate consists of multiple commercial premises and events space.

Duties will include general Planned and Reactive maintenance duties ie: AHU's / FCU's (belts changes, filter changes, coil cleans), boiler resets, chiller checks, fire alarm testing, sprinkler tests, pumps, motors, Plumbing (taps, washers, blockages). Monitoring / temperature changes on BMS system, general other building services duties when necessary: lights, sockets, fabric maintenance.

Package:

  • £35,000 basic salary
  • £5000 annual bonus
  • Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:00
  • Hours may need to be very flexible at certain times of year dependant on events
  • Working client side opposed to service provider

Responsibilities:

  • Duties will include general Planned and Reactive maintenance duties ie: AHU's / FCU's (belts changes, filter changes, coil cleans), boiler resets, chiller checks, fire alarm testing, sprinkler tests, pumps, motors, Plumbing (taps, washers, blockages). Monitoring / temperature changes on BMS system, general other building services duties when necessary: lights, sockets, fabric maintenance.
  • Supervising sub-contractors
  • Liaising with the manager and providing updates on works - email, face to face and by phone
  • Prioritising works
  • Using PDA for works schedule
  • Updating log books and other general compliance

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience working within commercial building services
  • Experience maintaining HVAC equipment
  • Ideally have a UK driving license for on-site vehicles but this is not essential
