Build Recruitment are working with an NHS Trust in the Southeast to source an Interim Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager. A minimum 3 month contract paying £36 p/h (Umbrella).

Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for arranging planned and ad-hoc repairs and maintenance of building and mechanical services, ensuring satisfactory completion.

Responsibilities will also include project managing major M&E maintenance works, ensuring effective liaison with local operational managers to minimise operational disruption and ensure continuity of service.

The Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager will ensure critical areas served by Mechanical and Electrical services, including Building Management Systems, are maintained in good working order, as well as ensuring a regular programme of maintenance and repair to all buildings is maintained.

The Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager will also have working knowledge of the operation of MVHR, AHU's, HVAC, CRAC systems including modes of operation and fault diagnostics.

It is expected that applicants will be up to date with the following;

CDM Building Regulations
LOLER Regulations
PUWER Regulations
Pressure Equipment Regulations
ACOP L8
Control of Asbestos Regulations

Experience of working within the NHS as well as HTMs and HBNs would be advantageous but by no means essential.
