About the role
We are looking for experienced Multi-Trade Operatives to join our Responsive Maintenance team based in Slough. You will form part of a dedicated team, working across Berkshire on kitchen and bathroom installation and general repairs associated with refurbishment works to our housing stock, care homes and student accommodation. You will carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance repairs, completing all jobs to a high standard and ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.
Your previous multi-trade experience combined with your excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail will ensure you succeed in this varied role. You will have primary skills in at least 3 trades including carpentry, plumbing and tiling. Additional skills in flooring and cladding installation would be desirable but are not essential. You will have the ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and plan ahead. A flexible approach is required, as we operate an out of hours service/emergency callout on a rotational basis. Due to the scope of the role, a company van and power tools will be provided for business use only, therefore a full, current driving licence is essential.
