Assistant/ Junior Quantity Surveyor in Dorset

Permanent role

Working on council refurbishment projects across Dorset. Great opportunity for someone to progress their career in Quantity Surveying.

Day to Day:

• Contract Administration
• Reinstatement valuations
• Cost planning
• Undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk and value management assessments
• Procurement
• Change management and valuation
• Final account negotiation
• Report writing

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• Degree educated (not necessarily in quantity surveying)
• Open to candidates from ‘in training’ to Graduate to Assistant level
• A full clean driving licence
• Good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook
• A reasonable understanding of construction methodologies and techniques
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
