Interim Contract Manager

An exciting opportunity has arrived for a Contract Manager to work for a London Council. The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing one large contract and several smaller ones. The role will involve dealing with various council clients where excellent relationship management experience is required. The right candidate could be offered a permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • The Contract Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient, economic and compliant running of contracts
  • Manage the delivery of all facilities management contracts
  • Responsible for reporting to senior management on the situations of both soft and hard FM contracts
  • Responsible for relationships across the council

Skills and Experience

  • Experienced in managing facilities management contracts in either the private or public sector
  • The Contract Manager will need experience in managing small to large sized contracts
  • Previous budgetary control experience
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Experience in procurement is a large advantage
  • Client relationship experience

Qualifications

  • BIFM membership or proof on ongoing professional development
  • NEBOSH or IOSH is advantageous but not essential
