Role: Regional HR Advisor
Location: Aldgate, City of London
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + company car + benefits package
I am working with one of the UK’s leading housing and maintenance contractors who are on the lookout for a Regional HR Advisor to join the team out of their offices in Aldgate and also to hot desk on various sites in London, the post holder will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment, resourcing & on boarding, payroll & benefits, performance & talent management, succession planning and employee relations.
Coaching managers on how to reach fair, informal and formal resolutions when dealing with capability, disciplinary and absence management issues.
Build line manager capacity by pro-actively identifying and advising on various, challenging HR matters, and facilitating decisions based on best practice.
Provide advice and guidance to line managers and employees on policy matters.
Representing HR on a variety of employee relations activities, including investigations, hearings and appeals.
Resource planning support, including liaising with the Recruitment team on requirements in the different business areas.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, developing new process, procedures and practice.
Participation in HR projects as and when required.
Promoting the core values of the company, monitor employees' health and wellbeing and deliver improvements through appropriate and considered interventions.
Experience providing complex employee relations / generalist HR advice and guidance to all staffing level
Experience of managing a significant caseload of HR cases from start to finish achieving successful outcome
Experience of managing TUPE transfers
Experience of working across multiple sites
Expert knowledge of current HR legislation
Excellent written communication skills & interpersonal skills
Able to use discretion intelligently, resourceful and solution-oriented
Networking with internal/external customers
My client would be looking for someone who has a generalist experience supporting in all aspects of HR, previous experience of acting in an regional advisor capacity within the construction sector, exposure to a variety of employee relations activities, e.g. performance management, sickness absence, disciplinary matters, etc. track record of building strong relationships within a business, good verbal and written communication skills and either CIPD Membership or working towards this.
