I am working with a multi-disciplinary property & construction consultancy who are looking to expand their H&S team due to continued and consistent success of the business. They are looking for a focused and independent H&S Consultant, to work on a number of exciting projects within the residential, commercial, retail, education, healthcare sectors. They are happy to speak with H&S professionals who have worked for a construction contractor and have experience of delivering CDM / PD services. 

The post holder will have responsibility for the management of health and safety on projects under their control and ensuring these projects meet the business standards on project governance. The post holder will also be flexible to deliver other construction, project health, and general H&S compliance reviews/audits, COSHH and risk assessments. 

My client is looking for a H&S professional to join the team who has the relevant industry qualifications with a NEBOSH Construction / General (minimum). This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and client-facing skills, whilst being a part of a growing and successful business.

Duties:
Working alongside a team of other consultants to provide H&S and CDM support to a variety of clients in the property & construction sector
Ensure compliance in line with CDM regulation throughout the client portfolio
Working alongside large-scale principal contractors, developers, housing associations and local authorities to influence H&S
Support the implementation of H&S policy and procedure
Conduct audits/inspections of sites from design to completion stage client-wide
Recent experience knowledge of CDM2015 Regulations

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction / General or relevant industry equivalent qualification (minimum)
  • 2 years in a similar position delivering H&S advice in the construction sector
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
