Role: Health & Safety Consultant - Construction/Consultancy
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + car allowance
I am working with one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who are looking to grow their team out of their offices in Surrey, the organisation who have an office in Woking are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Consultant to join their safety team during an exciting period of growth for the business. The candidate would have at least 1/3 years experience working in a similar position where they were responsible for developing the company's Health & Safety and CDM policies.
My client are looking for an ambitious and energetic consultants who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the construction safety sector, working on various schemes for some of the UK's largest construction companies providing site inspections, audits etc. on projects within the residential (private / public sector), commercial, retail, education and healthcare sectors.
The Ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Construction and be a member of IOSH at Tech IOSH level. The ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi site operations and be up to date with the latest CDM changes. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.
The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner.
