Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + car allowance + excellent benefits package

I am representing a highly successful Health & Safety consultancy who operate throughout the UK, at present they are looking to recruit  up to 6 Health & Safety Consultants to join their growing team to work on projects throughout London and the South East, working on a variety of commercial, industrial, office, residential, education, healthcare and retail projects within construction. The candidate would have at least 1/2 years’ experience working in a similar position having worked for a principal construction contractor. 

Responsibilities:
Ability to conduct safety audits and hold a NEBOSH Construction qualification.
Possess specific experience in the construction sector having worked on large projects.
Ability to strategically advise and guide all personnel with the implementation of current Health and Safety legislations.
Appropriate experience of the design and construction processes and principles of risk reduction.
Have strong relationship management skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care.

The Ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Construction and be at either Technical/Graduate/Chartered members of IOSH. The ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi-site operations and be up to date with the latest CDM changes. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.

The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner.
