The Role

My client are a national contractor who are looking to bring in a Head of Minor works on a permanent contract to be based in West Yorkshire.

This role will be profit and loss accountable, ensuring that all minor works orders/projects up to a value of £250K with a total annual spend of £7M.

The successful candidate will oversee the pricing of all minor works commissions from inception, ensuring that they are suitably triaged, surveyed and designed. They will manage the delivery of the annual Capital Maintenance Programme for schools and corporate buildings including; Programming and planning the works, design co-ordination, commissioning, mobilisation, supply chain procurement, budget, resource, SHEQ, client and stakeholder management and service delivery.

mainly be dealing with responsive repairs.You will be responsible for inspecting domestic housing stock & diagnosing building defects from customers reported concerns. Managing legal disrepair & insurance claims across a patch of assets, including the installation of major and non-standard minor adaptations. Consulting and engaging with customers whilst liaising with key stakeholders.We work with a wide variety of clients in the public and private sector, and we will work with you to identify clients in which your skills, experience and personality will fit.
