Head of Building Surveying;

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Head of Building Surveying to join an established practice in City, London.

An award-winning organisation is seeking a talented leader to Head their successful Building Surveying division. This practice offers a wide range of building surveying services across the Private Residential and Commercial sectors. My forward-thinking client has a modern and respected name in the market with a strong emphasis in providing exceptional service from inception to completion.

The role of Head of Building Surveying is 60% managerial and 40% technical, you'll manage 4 team leaders who all have a minimum of 2 surveyors in each team. There are over 15 surveyors from Associate to Assistant Building Surveyor level. The role will also include overseeing recruitment, making strategic business decisions and developing external stakeholder relationships.

Projects include mansion blocks, large estates, listed buildings and office fit outs. They're slightly biased towards residential work however there is an opportunity to further develop the commercial department.
