We are looking for handy man to fill a role, covering various London locations. The job entails carrying out daily building inspections across a portfolio of sites, including water flushing and temperature testing, fire alarm call point tests and carrying out minor repairs. A drivers licence is a requirement for this job as the employer, will provide a company vehicle and cover expenses (permit, Fuel card) for this job role. The candidate will be able to take the company vehicle home.

Contract type: This role is temp for 4 weeks with a possibility of extension

Pay rate : £18 per hour PAYE

Is driving licence required? Yes

Location : Various London locations

Knowledge, skills & experience required:

  • A good understanding of statutory regulations and approved codes of
  • practice (ACOP); Fire, Legionella, Asbestos, Gas, Electricity et al
  • Experience of working in a similar role, supporting a property portfolio and several service lines within an Operations team
  • A good understanding of health and Safety legislation

Basic on the job electrical and plumbing skills Education / Qualifications:

  • Preferably IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • Statutory Building Compliance Courses i.e. C&G Legionella Awareness Training
  • Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid Certificate and Fire Marshall trained
  • City & Guilds electrical and plumbing basic training skills
