Build Recruitment are working with a public sector client in central London to source an Interim Facilities Manager up to 6 months: £24.82 Umbrella per hour.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Facilities Manager will be responsible the delivery of the day-to-day Facilities Operations (to include Hard & Soft Services) across their portfolio.

Working closely with an array of internal stakeholders and occupiers, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day Health & Safety issues arising from building occupation and taking the necessary actions from accident and incident (A&I) reports and audit actions raised.

As well as being responsible for maintaining the forward maintenance register and planned repair works, the Facilities Manager will manage all contractors arriving on site and provide inductions and site familiarisation when necessary.

It is expected that applicants will have working knowledge of all aspects of Facilities management (including physical security, health & Safety legislation, Asbestos awareness, and ideally be Legionella Responsible Person trained).

Due to multiple stakeholder groups (internal and external) my client is looking for a well organised and thorough and articulate Facilities Manager who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
