Facilities Manager – Venues and Event Services

Greater London Authority

£53,822 per annum plus on call allowance of £2,255.80

Ref: GLA152

We are looking for a passionate and results orientated Facilities Management professional to join our multi-disciplinary in-house Facilities Management team, which manages three of London’s iconic spaces, City Hall, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Gardens.

Your portfolio of responsibility will include the development of ‘landlord’ policies and procedures for commercial events and income generation, whist balancing statutory responsibilities for the fabric protection of National Heritage.  You will also manage the delivery of contracted support services, (including catering/hospitality, cleaning and porterage), which are essential for the efficient delivery of high-quality events.

You will be an experienced facilities and events manager with a commitment to providing excellent customer-focused services. You will be flexible and confident working both as part of a team and independently and will have a good working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation.  With a proven track record in resource and staff management you will be an exceptional communicator and negotiator.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We would welcome applications from candidates who are seeking part time work as this role is open to job share. We will also consider reduced hours arrangements (minimum 32 hours per week).

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan and a career average pension scheme.

Closing date: Sunday 2 June 2019 at 23:59 GMT.

Interview date: Tuesday 25th June 2019.

London's diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London's diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.
