Build Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation in central London to source a Hard FM Project Officer: £40k - £44k (Working on a flexible pattern of 2 days home, 2 days on site and 1 day in the office).

Reporting to the Principal Building Surveyor within the Corporate FM team, the Facilities Management Project Officer will be responsible for overseeing projects, planned preventative maintenance of building fabric and reactive service requests for Corporate Facilities Management's contractors across the non-housing estate. It will be imperative that projects for the division are delivered on time, within budget and at the required quality.

The Facilities Management Project Officer will work collaboratively with cross functional Project Teams, Facilities Managers and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council's property portfolio.

The Facilities Management Project Officer will be required to undertake post project performance reviews, diagnostic inspections and surveys for repairs and maintenance, preparation of specifications, schedule of works and associated cost estimates.

About you:

Working closely with the Corporate Facilities Management Engineering Team, Building Surveyors and other FM stakeholders - the Facilities Management Project Officer will have a positive and proactive attitude with an ability to positively influence wider team members and clients within the council.

The Facilities Management Project Officer will be confident and competent in producing and presenting reports and information clearly and succinctly. The Technical Team is made up of a small pool of professionals that work hard to make improvements to the client's built environment, therefore a strong commitment to helping the team reach its targets is vital.
