My client is looking for a Facilities Assistant to work at their prestigious building based in the City of London. The role is to work as part of the Facilities team and to assist with the day to day running of the site which is used for corporate work and events.
To carry out general portering, meeting room setups and decorating duties as requested by the client via the supervisor and FM Ops Manager.
To liaise with the supervisor and FM Ops Manager on a day to day basis reporting issues relating to operations and appearance.
Painting and decorating as agreed and directed by the management.
General handyman tasks, fabric repairs, decoration, wall repairs, flooring, carpeting, ceiling tiles.
To help setting up rooms for the business day including AV equipment, setting up furniture and so forth as required by the customer. Assist with any duties in proportion with the post for effective provision of service.
Furniture repairs i.e cabinets, furniture locks, chairs, desks/desk fixings.
Reporting of breakdown and faults.
Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in.
Assisting your own team and other teams where possible.
