Build Recruitment are working with a Midlands based NHS Trust to make the key appointment of Estates Operations Manager: circa £50k
Following a positive and progressive restructure, the newly created role of Estates Operations Manager will report directly to the Head of Estates and will have responsibility for the management and development of the Contracts, Building, Mechanical and Electrical teams, ensuring a cohesive and collaborate approach to service delivery is maintained.
Key to the success of this role will see the Estates Operations Manager develop and maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders including Estates Managers, Operatives, Engineers, Clinical Staff, Infection Control & Contractors in order to deliver excellent service to end users and to ensure cost effective and best value is obtained.
The Estates Operations Manager will also lead on the management of Statutory compliance within buildings relating to Asbestos Management, control of Legionella, Electricity at Work, Pressure Vessel Systems. COSHH, Gas Safety (Corgi), DDA, CDM, NHS HTMs and HBNs Guidance Documents.
It is expected that applicants will have an Engineering/Technical background (degree or relevant experience) as well as having held senior management positions.
This is an excellent opportunity to help influence and implement change across the Trust and NHS / Hospital experience is advantageous but not essential.
