£55,000 - £65,000 Per Annum + Benefits


Build Recruitment are working with a leading Distributor to the Retail Sector, who are looking for an Estates Manager (GP Surveyor) 

Day to Day:

Reporting to the Head of Transport and Property, the Estates Manager will be responsible for a national property portfolio consisting of 300+ retail stores and nearly 100 residential properties.

The Estates Manager will effectively help align the company's strategic, financial and operational needs/structure of the business. This will include leading on all aspects of landlord and tenant, day to day estates, transactions, rating, property lease management and negotiations

Other responsibilities will include:

Working with the Head of Transport and Property to develop a mid to long-term strategy for the business and be responsible for leading and negotiating Transactions (acquisitions and dispositions), Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews on an ongoing basis. The estates Manager will also be expected to undertake an allocated amount of Landlord & Tenant jobs directly (only outsourcing to consultants where necessary).

Essential Requirements:

Educated to degree standard aligned with Estate Management or Transactional Property
A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS)
A wealth of general property experience, preferably within a retail and/or multi-site environment.
Excellent knowledge and experience of convenience retail sector
Experienced at negotiating as a tenant to secure the best renewals of leases.~

Additional Benefits:

£6,000 Car Allowance
5% - 10% discretionary bonus
Up to 2 days per week home working
