Electrical Manager
£40-44k pro rata

We have just had a new role in for an immediate start for an Electrical Manager based around London. The Electrical Manager will be working client direct for 3 months initially but will probably get extended. You must come from an Electrical Managers background.

The role will consists of the following.

  1. To arrange planned and adhoc repairs and maintenance of building, mechanical and electrical works ensuring satisfactory completion.
  2. Project manage major M&E maintenance works ensuring effective liaison with local operational mangers to minimise operational disruption and ensure continuity of service.
  3. Ensure critical areas served by Mechanical and Electrical services including Building Management Systems, are maintained in good working order.
  4. To ensure a regular programme of maintenance and repair to all buildings and stations is maintained.
  5. Liaise with operational mangers regarding proposed maintenance works and keep operational managers informed of programme of works.
  6. To prepare tender specifications, providing all necessary documentation, to include drawings, plans, contract details and pre tender health and safety files and Building Regulations are complied with.
  7. To supervise the work of contractors, inspecting work during and on completion of projects, issuing variations, and additional orders where necessary.
  8. To provide advice on issues such as Health & Safety, Approved Codes of Practice, Best practice and any other professional advice commensurate with the post.
  9. To provide reports/information as set down in the Maintenance Standards and Polices and any other information relating to the estate as requested by the Head of Estates/Senior Building Services Engineer.

 It is essential that the candidate has kept up to date with all developments regarding building Regulations, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety)Order 2005, BS7671:2018 18th Edition, HTM’s and HBN’s. NHS experience beneficial but not essential.
