With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a housing developer, who are looking for a Development Manager based in Cornwall.

Day to Day:     

  • Land buying and site acquisitions
  • Design Development and Masterplanning
  • Support the preparation of planning applications
  • Help oversee development budgets and development cashflow forecasting
  • Assess performance to ensure profitability and value
  • Site visits- monitoring progress from conception to completion
  • Working closely with the entire development team- architects, consultants, general managers, and construction team.
  • Reinforce delivery of brand standards
  • Internal reporting 
  • Stakeholder management

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  • Significant experience of medium to large scale residential & commercial property development & investment
  • Full project lifecycle knowledge including feasibility, design, development, delivery, sales & lettings
  • Comprehensive understanding of the planning process and policies
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • High levels of attention to details ensuring delivery of the agreed standards   
  • A Degree within a property / construction related discipline with membership of a related profession advantageous.
