Build Recruitment are working with a Midlands based NHS Trust to make the key appointment of Contracts Manager: £31k - £35k

Reporting to the Estates Operations Manager, the Contract Manager will be responsible for the management of all maintenance service contracts and outsourced maintenance contractors to ensure a seamless service delivery between in house and outsourced personnel.

The Contracts Manager will manage all maintenance service contracts and specialist reactive maintenance contractors ensuring safety standards, quality control and maximising value for money, as well as developing and amending (where necessary) contract specifications consulting with relevant Estates managers and undertake tendering processes in line specialist contractor framework agreements.

Monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), the Contracts Manager will be responsible for carrying out regular quality reviews on all contractors work and ensure formal contractor review systems are in place to formally monitor and record contractor performance.

Key to the success of this role will see the Contracts Manager develop and maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders including Estates Managers, Operatives, Engineers, Clinical Staff, and the supply chain contractor in order to deliver excellent service to end users and to ensure cost effectiveness and best value is obtained.

About you:

It is expected that applicants will have:

  • An Engineering/Technical background
  • Experience of managing contractual obligations of outsourced and supply chain partners
  • Current driving license and own Transport
