We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Renewable Energy Contractor, who are looking for a Contracts Manager based in Somerset.

Our client, who is a well-known social housing contractor in the South West have an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The role holds overall responsibility of contracts locally, carrying out EWI work in social housing.  We are looking for candidate who have repairs & maintenance experience, ideally in domestic properties and in the social housing sector.

Day to Day:

  •      Management of directly employed and subbies on site carrying out work
  •      Liaising with the clients and tenants over the phone
  •      Mainly office based, some site visits will be required
  •      Day to day management of workload, estimating and collating materials for jobs

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  •      Construction or renewables qualification would be beneficial although not essential
  •      Trade background would be useful
  •      Experience of contract management, checking quality of work
  •      SMSTS/ CSCS or equivalent
