Build Recruitment are working as the exclusive recruitment partner for Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) as they look to appoint several new people to their Assets & Development Team.

The Opportunity

The Compliance Manager plays an integral part within the organisation - You will be responsible for ensuring LHP meets its Buildings Health and Safety obligations as a landlord and can demonstrate to customers that they are safe in their homes in line with the statutory and regulatory standards.

As Compliance Manager you will oversee the Compliance Performance and Contract Management for all areas of Compliance (Asbestos, Fire Safety, Water Hygiene, Gas Safety, Electrical Safety and the Safety of Lifting Equipment) within LHP.

The role is defined as being flexible under our agile working policy, therefore you will be able to work from wherever is suitable to complete the task at hand. This might be at home, or in one of our offices located in Boston or Grimsby, or somewhere else!

The Successful Candidate

The successful applicant will be process driven with excellent communication skills. A team player who leads by example with knowledge that delivery of great customer service should be at the forefront of all services provided by LHP.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining a process to evidence full compliance for all asset related statutory landlord Health and Safety requirements.
  • Maintenance of a compliance system that integrates with a corporate health and safety management system, that is fully auditable, proactive and creates single point responsibility.
  • Extensive knowledge of ACOPs/regulatory compliance covering Mechanical and Electrical building services and fire detection, fire risk assessments, control of asbestos containing materials and water hygiene.
  • Managing Mechanical and Electrical and Health and Safety Compliance contracts for a registered provider of social housing or within the private sector.
