Document Controller/Commercial Assistant required for a reputable Regional Housing Developer within the construction sector. Due to a very busy period and securing a number of new projects our client have a requirement for an addition Commercial Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis to be based from their office in North Cornwall
Skills & experience required:
Attention to detail
Able to manage different process simultaneously
Word & Excel proficient
Ability to deal with site staff in addition to office staff
Previous document control experience an advantage
Manage the online information exchange sites for various projects (e.g. 4 Projects)
Manage the information received by the Pre-Contracts dept.
Produce and update drawing issue registers for the various projects
Print drawings & post when requested
Upload, download and file information from 'Dropbox' sites working with the Project Engineers and our CAD dept.
Process sub-contact documents
Sub-contract documents written by Project Engineers and authorized by Senior Managers
Place the sub-contact orders on company specific software
Work with the Managing Surveyor to administrate the sub-contract payments
