Chartered Building Surveyor, Bucks. Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy are looking to add an MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (any level) into their Buckinghamshire Building Consultancy team, as part of the company's growth plans. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a busy environment working with investor, landlord and occupier clients and will be comfortable in client-facing business generation.

We are seeking Chartered Building Surveyors, ideally 0-15 years PQE plus relevant experience gained in a consultancy environment. The role will involve a mix of professional and project based surveying work with direct exposure to a wide cross section of clients and sectors.

The candidate will be based in the Buckinghamshire Office as part of a multi-disciplinary team but will work on a wide regional basis and must hold a full, clean driving licence, and be willing and able to travel.

Whilst primarily focused on professional work, contract administration and project delivery, the role is wide ranging with significant variation of workload within a busy team environment, including: -

1. Contract administration for repair, refurbishment and redevelopment projects

2. Project monitoring and project management

3. Preparing specifications and schedules of work.

4. Dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants

5. Building reinstatement cost assessments

6. Schedules of condition

7. Planned Maintenance reports

8. Pre-acquisition and due diligence surveys

9. Defect diagnosis and reporting

10. Any other duties commensurate with level of post.

Good client facing skills with an ability/potential to generate - as well as deliver - both repeat and new business.
