Building Surveyor

Up to £45,000

My client are one of the UK’s leading housing associations with a vision to improve people’s lives through high quality homes and services.

They operate across the south east providing affordable, private and social rented homes, student, NHS and temporary accommodation, as well as supported housing and homes for older people.

More about the role:

Deliver General property service duties ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction at all times e.g., regular inspections, point of contact for residents.
Processing out of contract requests, checking, challenging, and approving the correct repair solution.
Responsible for checking and authorizing invoices for works services provided by contractors.
Identify repairs and Post inspect completed works.
Carry out preparation for the annual audit liaising with auditors as required.
Responsible for departmental cost control and reporting to deliver a cost effective service
Survey when required and to develop a scope of works, schedule when applicable.
Assist with the planning and management of projects to agreed service levels, ensuring works carried out meet the Group’s quality requirements and stakeholder expectations.

More about you:

HNC or Degree in building or equivalent
Experience of working with EHO, Legal disrepair
Experience of working with a diverse range of Clients.
Full driving license and access to car
