Building Surveyor. We have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor with our client, a boutique surveying, architectural and engineering practice based in Hampshire. Providing a wide range of surveying services to a diverse client base.
The practice has significant Building Surveying experience working on projects for Central Government Agencies, MOD, Local Government, Education Authorities, Defence, organisations, Social Registered Landlords, National Companies and private clients.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in building pathology and a working knowledge of condition surveys, fire risk assessments, defect analysis, and report writing. Experience in residential and commercial building surveying is preferable.
The applicant will be self-motivated, a good team player and it is essential that they have good client management skills.
Principal work is undertaken on the MOD Estate and any experience in this type of work would be an advantage, but not essential. The right candidate must have a clean driving licence.
Remuneration is negotiable and dependant more on experience and ability rather than qualifications.
We are seeking full time or part time applicants, working hours can be flexible to assist in work-life balance, and depending on the nature of the work at any one time, and the need for inter staff collaboration, home-working can to some extent be accommodated.
Travelling to site will be required on a regular basis and the applicant will need to manage these visits into their working hours, and the applicant will be required to provide their own vehicle.
Salary negotiable dependant on ability and experience. Business mileage paid and Holiday is 5 weeks plus Bank Holidays.
