We are currently recruiting for a national housing refurbishment contractor and they are currently looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join their team and assist them in the management and delivery of their decent homes programme which will be based in East London.
The ideal candidate would have previously worked for a tier one contractor and would have delivered in social housing/decent homes schemes for a minimum of 5 years. Works you will be expected to manage include roofing and window renewals, K&B replacements, electrical re-wires and redecoration works.
Your main duties will be assisting in the management of sub-contractors on site, carrying out surveys to properties, H&S checks, collating property information for each project and generally assisting your site manager with delivering the project. My client require someone who is keen to learn, enthusiastic, IT literate and someone who can work individually or in a team.
- SSSTS (Minimum)
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Full Driving Licence
- A minimum of five years experience managing decent home projects
This is a freelance position which requires someone to start immediately if they are successful.
