We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Refurb & Maintenance contractor, who are looking for Assistant QS based in Dorset.

Day to Day:

• Undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk and value management assessments
• Procurement
• Cost planning
• Change management and valuation
• Final account negotiation
• Report writing
• Bank monitoring surveying
• Reinstatement valuations
• Contract Administration

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

• Degree educated (not necessarily in quantity surveying)
• Open to candidates from Graduate to Assistant level
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• A reasonable understanding of construction methodologies and techniques
• Good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook
• A full clean driving licence
